The Director, Marketing will be responsible for the acceleration of Authentic Vision’s business by evolving and executing our go-to-market strategy and advancing the competitive positioning in the global product authentication space. This will primarily be achieved through a strategy that places customer value, awareness initiatives and thought leadership and the center of all activities. The person in this role will be instrumental in enabling business growth by executing a wide range of initiatives related to brand building and demand generation including marketing communications, advertising, PR, social media and lead generation. The individual will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and will work collaboratively with the business teams and the Chief Commercial Officer to drive execution, while being accountable for results.


All the responsibilities we will trust you with

  • Refine and develop the integrated marketing, brand and Go-To-Market strategy and execution plan
  • Evolve product positioning, messaging and storyline for the global marketplace for the various use cases, applications and market segments with a key focus on Authentic Vision’s USP, differentiators and technology breakthroughs
  • Work with the sales team and the Chief Commercial Officer to understand the customer targets and audience profiles that are being pursued by the company by use case and industry
  • Manage, develop and execute the various functional aspects of the marketing plan which includes awareness and demand creation initiatives
  • Drive awareness initiatives through several earned and paid media vehicles such as advertising, PR, Social Media and Thought Leadership programs
  • Drive execution of demand creation programs such as lead generation and tradeshows & conferences with an aim to increase the volume and quality of leads, which are converted into opportunities and business
  • Support the sales team through sales enablement initiatives
  • Lead, manage develop the marketing team
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success and product areas to gain market insights to counter competitive challenges and predict future opportunities

That matter most for the role

  • 10-15 years managing the marketing function in medium / large hi-tech enterprise; Experience in core technology and product authentication highly desirable

  • Demonstrated expertise and experience developing and driving marketing and brand strategy and execution plans with the right marketing mix that aligns with business objectives

  • Commercially driven, results oriented marketing practitioner with experience of partnering with sales teams to drive sales enablement and demand generation programs to drive sales pipeline

  • Natural self starter and forward thinker / planner with an enthusiastic, passionate and motivational leadership style, with experience of inspiring and galvanizing an organization across functions, levels and geographies

  • Strong business acumen and experience navigating conflicting opinions to drive a path forward that benefits the organization

  • Experience identifying process improvements and drving change with a sense of pace and urgency

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills , with an ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally

For legal reasons, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position under the collective agreement, which is € 5.521 gross per month. Our attractive remuneration package is based on salaries in line with the market and is therefore significantly higher than the stated minimum salary.
