Do you want to drive revenue growth by managing existing clients and developing new business?

The Sales Operations Manager is an important position in the sales function of the company. The role has been created to manage the relationships with small and medium sized customers who generate revenue today and following through on new opportunities and leads and drive sales with small and medium enterprises to drive new revenue for the customers. This will entail working closely with Customer Success and Product teams to develop the right solution proposal with an aim to develop the opportunity and close the business with such prospects. The person in this role will be instrumental in enabling business growth and will work directly with the sales teams and the Chief Commercial Officer to drive execution, while being accountable for results.


All the responsibilities we will trust you with

  • Transition existing small and medium enterprise accounts, who generate revenue today and are currently being managed by Sales Directors
  • Develop key customer relationships with these accounts, understand their current commercial agreements, understand future needs and order pipeline and drive fulfillment of these orders to preserve and grow / expand revenue with these accounts.
  • Work with the sales team and the Chief Commercial Officer to understand the customer targets and audience profiles that are being pursued by the company by use case and industry
  • Engage with these new small and medium business target opportunities, either sourced directly through an outreach effort or through the lead generation program of the company
  • Research these opportunities to better qualify them as candidates for AV’s technology by understanding the pain points and potential needs
  • Shortlist key customer accounts and identify the influencers and decision makers in target accounts
  • Drive these opportunities by understanding requirements, develop solution proposals by working with internal teams and driving the development of new business and new revenue
  • Build up and increase the sales pipeline
  • Champion customer /prospect need by being the voice of the customer
  • Lead commercial negotiations, provide accurate sales forecasts and carefully planning the sales activities in close cooperation with the AV management
  • Close deals and acquire new customers
  • Achieve revenue targets as set out in the AV sales budget according to the AV business plan
  • Participate and assist at trade shows, conferences and events to promote the AV solution
  • Build close working relationships with colleagues involved in product development and customer success, to place customer advocacy at the heart of future product and solution development
  • Attend and contribute to relevant internal meetings to liaise with other AV functions and office where necessary

That matter most for the role

  • 5-7 years managing revenue in a sales operations role

  • Natural self starter and forward thinker / planner with proven track record in Business development to expand revenue from existing accounts and generate revenue from new opportunities

  • Strong business acumen and experience negotiating complex renewal and new agreements

  • Power user of Linked In and Salesforce (or other CRM systems)

  • Strong interest in researching and qualifying new opportunities with an attention to detail, strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated sales DNA and excellent influencing / networking skills

  • Exceptional professional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable to interact in a global context
