Holographic Fingerprint™ Seals for Greater Security

Biogena’s premium products are now equipped with Authentic Vision’s counterfeit- and tamper-proof Holographic Fingerprint™ seals. Authentic Vision is an Austrian provider of authentication solutions. Using the accompanying free CheckIfReal mobile app, the labels can be easily scanned at any time to verify their authenticity.

Since each label is unique and can be individually identified, counterfeit products can be prevented from becoming established at points of sale worldwide. Products equipped with the seals can be authenticated at any time with a simple scan using the app. Products carrying counterfeit or manipulated security labels can therefore be reliably identified before reaching the market.

Technical Sophistication

The Holographic Fingerprint™ seals applied to Biogena products are so unique that even Authentic Vision itself cannot reproduce them. This is made possible by natural variations during the production process. The holographic fingerprint is also inseparably linked server-side to a unique ID and a Data Matrix code.

Attempts at tampering or counterfeiting are automatically detected with any smartphone using the CheckIfReal app. No special equipment or training is required. The app authenticates the seal in real time and provides immediate and unambiguous results.
