Gift Cards | Authentic Vision

Authentic Vision has developed a secure activation process that prevents gift card tampering fraud. In-store, the customer signs the card, creating a unique physical identifier, and scans a printed QR code. A personal barcode is generated on the customer’s phone and presented at checkout. The cashier scans this barcode to activate the card after purchase. Only then can the card’s value be redeemed, making stolen codes useless.

Simple & Secure by Design

Each card is secured through a unique customer-created pattern, whether a simple doodle, note, or signature. This visual identifier replaces exposed codes, preventing code harvesting and securely binding the card’s value at activation. Sensitive activation data is no longer printed on the card, eliminating static information that could be stolen or copied.

High Security, Lower Cost

Our solution delivers stronger protection than traditional scratch-off systems and security packaging, while remaining significantly more cost-efficient than NFC technologies. By eliminating exposed codes and unnecessary security components, it enhances security while simplifying production.

Unlike conventional security upgrades, it does not add hardware or operational complexity. Instead, it reduces existing cost drivers and fraud risk — delivering measurable results without disrupting established processes.
